As I mentioned in my 2 down, 2 to go post, I had 2 more exams to do: Small Real-Time Systems and Intelligent Robotics.
SRTS was on Thursday morning and it went well; I could answer almost every question and grabbed as many marks as I could.
Intelligent Robotics was Friday afternoon, so I didn't have much prep. time for that one! I loved it. I actually loved an exam - what the hell is wrong with me!? For an exam to be that stress-free, and to be my last exam... I don't know - I just had the biggest smile on my face afterwards. - I raped demolished it, let's just put it that way.
A few commenters were wondering what the Intelligent Robotics exam entailed;
- Movement and Locomotion
- Autonomy
- Sensors and Perception
- Robotic Manipulator Arms
- Control Paradigms
- Reactive & Deliberative Systems
- Biologically Inspired Robots
- Accuracy, Precision and Repeatability.
Here's an example of a biologically inspired robot, Whegs II - which is based on a cockroach:
Needless to say, after that exam, I went straight out to a few bars and gave my brain cells a good send off for all the hard work they've been through.
Graduation in July.

Sounds like you're doing an interesting course. I seen a cool video of 2 robots that created a language and dynamically assigned names to objects. They then used the new language to communicate about their surroundings and traverse an obstacle course. That shit was whack!
congrats on finishing, hope you did well on your exams!
I always found that kind of stuff rather cool, but to study it and do it for a living, meh..
Great blog! Keep the posts coming, i enjoy reading them!
gratz on your SRTS exam & IR exam.
"I actually loved an exam - what the hell is wrong with me!?" LOL!

Congrats it's going to feel glorious to finally graduate!!!
Good luck, I hope you build way better robots, than cockwhegs2.
congrats you got them all over! my graduation isnt till november, dammit!
intelligent robotics seems like a foreign language to me
sounds fun and congrats.
Haha. Good call on the bar. Gotta degauss the brain sometimes. Congrats on the exams! It's smooth sailing from here on end.
I haven't played about with many robots in my time, however last year one of the modules we did we programmed robots using C, It was pretty sweet! Congrats on finishing too buddy!
Nice robot, that looks weird. Congrats on graduating.
good luck bro, i'm glad someone's smart
That's crazy, I would have to do the same thing if I went through all that.
WOOO CONGRATULATIONS :D also, that robot is kind of creepy once you know what inspired it
damn, CONGRATS! looks like you've put in some major work for all this.
Reminds me of a robot I saw which was controlled by a cockroach XD. But why don't they combine the antenna sensor with the ultrasonic?
Congratulations man! Also, is it possible to simulate balance so that robots may walk on two legs?
You rapemollished the exam, eh? It is the best feeling in the world wrecking an exam and knowing you did well. :P
this is why science is cool. its a freakin walking robot!
grats on the exams!
bro. You sound like a fucking genius. Engineering was so hard. -_-
Congrats on the end of your exams man ;D
Sorry you're still takin' tests, I'm all done :p
Two months from now! congrats mate.

looks like a great invention
congrats and good luck with whatever you do next
Congrats man, i know the feeling of being done with finals is a great one.
That sounds like a crazy fun class! I wanted to take a similar class at my school, "Mechatronics", but it was cancelled the semester I wanted to sign up :( Very jealous!
Congrats, Enjoy your summer ~.^
I know that feeling of completely annihilating an exam.
Hey gratz on graduating!
I am interested in robots, that whegs robot looks very good.
Good luck in graduation.

Good luck with your job finding goals on 2011. =)
Congratulations :) Robotics is an exciting topic in general...sadly, I never learned much about them in school (my overall knowledge is limited to making small lamps on a microcontroller blink, lol).
